Benefit Resolutions at the Houses Of Parliament

In March 2017 The  Parliamentary Committee invited  Benefits Resolutions and others to the Wilson Room at the House of Commons. They wanted to hear from people who work at the sharp end of the benefits system on how  the role out of Personal Independence payments (PIP) was going.
Our advocate, Tony Lea, gave it to them with both barrels. Explaining how it was failing the most vulnerable in society.  To watch this video, click below.

The Victoria Derbyshire Show

 Benefit Resolutions has appeared on The Victoria Derbyshire Show, a hard hitting current affairs programme on BBC2. We were asked to respond to a news item entitled "Why I secretly taped  my disability assessment"

"............Tony Lea, the lead welfare rights officer at Cornwall-based Benefit Resolutions CIC, accused the Department for Work and Pensions of “continuously harming people” through the PIP process. Lea said that it was, in effect, assuming people were lying to assessors about their condition. “You are telling people with no arms and legs ‘grow ‘em back, there’s nothing wrong with you," he said............."

On January 28th  Tony Lea of Benefit Resolutions attended the studios of Source FM.
