Are you waiting for a Mandatory Consideration (MR)? Do you feel the report they did was inaccurate?
Well for the first time in 6 years BENEFIT RESOLUTIONS CIC, now has a single points of contact/access with the IAS and CDHA. Assessors , Health Professionals' reports are being found to be deficient, reports are being revised back to the DWP.
They are also investigating their Health Professionals who carry out the assessments. BENEFIT RESOLUTIONS are changing the way the system works so as to best serve you, our clients. We are preventing assessments even taking place in some cases, removing stress from the claim process. If you wish to share your experience or want us to help you, then do contact us, maybe we can help.

Personal Independence Payments Extension.
We were contacted today (25/05/21) by a client with grave concerns. They had received an unsolicited telephone call from the DWP, stating that they were able to PREVENT another PIP assessment. This was out of the blue, and not the normal way the DWP worked. The claimant rang Benefit Resolutions with concerns about possible spamming. 10 minutes later, we ourselves received a call from the DWP, confirming they had contacted the claimant. This is a new process it seems.
Due to the backlog and length of assessments and Tribunals, It has been requested to the DWP to speed the process up.
If you are a historic claimant, which the DWP already hold evidence on your case then they will ring you, ask for identification, ask a few questions and NO RE-ASSESSMENT will be required. Comply and there will be no need for further assessments.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED A RENEWAL FORM. PLEASE COMPLETE IT, DO NOT WAIT FOR A CALL FROM THE DWP. Delay may cause benefits to stop.
Once again Benefit Resolutions has been, with the help of you and others, been able to affect Government policy in favour of our clients. Keep up the good work all.

Streamlined Tribunal Services
Benefit Resolutions were invited to attend a presentation of the new online Tribunal Appeals Services at Exeter Combined Courts on 26th February 2019. We were impressed! Online appeals will be rolled out nationwide over 2019 / 2020.
This service removes the need to send valuable case evidence via recorded mail, and the subsequent "losing" of that evidence in the process. Overall this online appeals service should speed up and improve the whole appeals experience for our clients.
